Advanced foot & movement analysis

We don’t just watch movement. We measure it, analyse it and interpret it clinically.

Movement data produced while a person walks, runs or jumps naturally — in their own shoes — is captured by sensor insoles and evaluated with AI-supported analysis. The aim is not merely to see how the foot strikes the ground, but to build a personal biomechanical profile from load distribution, left–right asymmetry, strike pattern and movement dynamics together.

The foot’s real function appears in motion.

Classical foot assessment is mostly done while the person stands still. In daily life and in sport the foot works in motion. Our evaluation looks at static foot structure and, beyond it, at gait, load transfer and — where appropriate — running and jump dynamics. Because the sensor insoles sit inside the person’s own shoes, the data comes from natural movement, not from a laboratory pose.

How it works

Four steps.

    Clinical evaluation

    A specialist reviews the complaint, sport history, injury history and the structure of the foot and lower limb.

    Sensor-insole measurement

    A sensor analysis insole of the right size is placed inside the person’s own shoe.

  3. 03

    Natural movement recording

    The person walks according to the protocol; running or jump tests are added where needed.

  4. 04

    Analysis and interpretation

    The biomechanical data is evaluated by our clinicians together with examination findings and other performance tests.

Why it matters for athletes

The foot is the start of the kinetic chain — not just what touches the ground.

Foot and movement analysis reveals an athlete’s loading characteristics, side-to-side differences and movement pattern, and contributes to a fuller performance assessment. Results are read, where needed, together with our other measurements — force, jump, posture, balance, sport — to build a more complete biomechanical profile.

Custom orthotics — only when clinically indicated.

If the analysis shows a clinical need, a custom insole is planned around the person’s foot structure, strike characteristics, activity level and purpose. Insoles are never issued as standard; they follow the analysis result and the person’s need.

Treatment and follow-up

The first measurement is only the starting point. After treatment, rehabilitation, an exercise programme or orthotics, repeat measurements at set intervals compare before and after — and make the change visible.

How long does the analysis take?

It depends on the chosen protocol. A basic sensor-based movement recording is completed in a short time.

Can I test in my own shoes?

Yes. The sensor insole is placed inside your own shoe and the measurement is taken during natural movement.

Is only walking evaluated?

No. Depending on need and protocol, running and jumping are evaluated alongside walking.

Will I definitely need orthotics afterwards?

No. The need for orthotics is decided from the clinical evaluation and analysis results together.

Can it be used for athletes?

Yes — particularly for loading, left–right asymmetry, running and movement dynamics.
